Biography
Bruce Wright has taken on roles ranging from Bartolo and Dulcamara to the title role in Rigoletto; his repertoire also includes Monterone (Rigoletto), Capulet in Romeo et Juliette, the Father in Hansel and Gretel, Dr. Grenvil in La Traviata; Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors, and both Angelotti and Scarpia in Tosca. In addition, Bruce has sung as a bass-baritone soloist in oratorio and concert music ranging from Mozart to Vaughan Williams and has been privileged to participate in workshops and world premieres of four original, contemporary operas.
