Biography
Julia has gained a diverse performing background ranging from straight theater to musical theater to film. Theatrical roles include: Helena (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Angel/Bronx Woman/Sister Ella Chapter (Angels in America), and Mrs. Stevenson (Sorry, Wrong Number). Musical Theater roles include: The Baker's Wife (Into The Woods), Smitty (How To Succeed in Business...), and Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast). She has several film roles with AFI and NYU, and most recently played the role of The Artist in Lightsong Films' The Watermelon. She is the recipient of the B.J. Navickas Award in Music, and is a Semi-Finalist in Classical Voice category of the Los Angeles Music Center's 2008 Spotlight Awards.
