Biography
Susie is a Latin jazz violinist and the leader of a very popular and successful Los Angeles-based band, the Susie Hansen Latin Band. They play lively and rhythmic Salsa and Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz that aims for the feet! Besides playing jazz violin, Susie sings in English and Spanish, both as lead vocalist and as backup singer to the band's fine Cubano lead singer. Among their performances are the Playboy Jazz Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, Fiesta Broadway, the inauguation of LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, a special event for Arnold Schwartzenegger, parties for Goldie Hawn, Peter Falk and Leonard Nimoy, the LA Salsa Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival.Genre
