The Magic Flute is a fanciful tale of a princess rescued from dark forces, the testing of young lovers through a series of trials and the triumph of spirituality over man’s carnal nature. Written in the Singspiel tradition, it is one of the strongest examples of this style and includes many references to Freemasonry. It will be sung in German with English dialogue.
