As the culmination of the OperaWorks Advanced Artist Program, director Zeffin Quinn Hollis along with Ann Baltz and the full cast build a brand new opera performance piece through improvisation and physical theater.





The group, using a long form improvisation technique where the characters play scenes “La Ronde” in which at every scene switch, the `oldest` character disappears and a new scene is played with the remaining character, and a new one. The form ends when the last and first characters do a scene closing the circle and completing the evening. You will hear arias and songs from your favorite operas and composers keeping the same text and intention but reimagined in a new story.
